WISDOM: BE WISE IN ALL THINGS AND GET AN UNDERSTANDING:

JAMES 1:5-8

IF ANY OF YOU LACK WISDOM, YOU SHOULD PRAY TO GOD, WHO WILL GIVE IT TO YOU; BECAUSE GOD GIVES GENEROUSLY AND GRACIOUSLY TO ALL. WHEN YOU PRAY, YOU MUST BELIEVE AND NOT DOUBT AT ALL.  WHOEVER DOUBTS IS LIKE A WAVE IN THE SEA THAT IS DRIVEN AND BLOWN ABOUT BY THE WIND. { IF YOU ARE LIKE THAT, UNABLE TO MAKE UP YOUR MIND AND ARE UNDECIDED IN ALL YOU DO, YOU MUST NOT THINK THAT YOU WILL RECEIVE ANYTHING FROM THE LORD.}

{ Proverbs 8:1-36 }

Listen!  Wisdom is calling out.  Reason is making herself heard.  On the hilltops near the road and at the crossroads she stands.  At the entrance of the city, beside the gates, she calls: I appeal to all of you; I call to everyone on earth.  Are you immature?  Learn to be mature.  Are you foolish learn to have sense.  Listen to my excellent words; all I tell you is right, what I say is the truth; lies are hateful to me.

Everything I say is true; nothing is false or misleading.  To those with insight, it is all clear; to the well-informed it is all plain.  Choose my instruction instead of silver; choose knowledge rather than the finest gold. ” I AM WISDOM, I AM BETTER THAN JEWELS; NOTHING YOU WANT CAN COMPARE WITH ME.  I AM WISDOM AND I HAVE INSIGHT; I HAVE KNOWLEDGE AND SOUND JUDGMENT.”

To honor the Lord is to hate evil; “I HATE PRIDE AND ARROGANCE, EVIL WAYS AND FALSE WORDS.  I MAKE PLANS AND CARRY THEM OUT. I HAVE UNDERSTANDING AND I AM STRONG.  I help Kings to govern and rulers to make good laws.  Every ruler on earth governs with my help, officials and nobles alike.  I love those who love me; WHOEVER LOOKS FOR ME CAN FIND ME.

I have riches to give, prosperity and success.  WHAT YOU GET FROM ME IS BETTER THAN THE FINEST GOLD, BETTER THAN THE PUREST SILVER.  I walk the way of righteousness; I follow the paths of justice, giving wealth to those who love me, filling their homes with treasures.  The Lord created me first of all, the first of his works, long ago.  I was made in the very beginning, at the first, before the world began.  I was born before the oceans, when there were no springs of water.  I was born before the mountains, before the hills were set in place, before God made the earth and it’s fields or even the first handful of soil.

I was there when he set the sky in place, when he stretched the horizon across the ocean, when he placed the clouds in the sky.  I was there when he opened the springs of the ocean and ordered the waters of the sea to rise “No Further” than he said.  I was there when he laid the earth’s foundations.  I was beside him like an architect, I WAS HIS DAILY SOURCE OF JOY, always happy in his presence, happy with the world and pleased with the human race.

NOW, YOUNG PEOPLE, LISTEN TO ME: DO AS I SAY AND YOU WILL BE HAPPY, LISTEN TO WHAT YOU ARE TAUGHT. BE WISE; DO NOT NEGLECT IT.  THOSE WHO LISTEN TO ME WILL BE HAPPY.

Those who stay at “MY DOOR” every day, waiting at the entrance to my home.  THOSE WHO FIND ME FIND LIFE AND THE LORD WILL BE PLEASED WITH THEM.

“THOSE WHO DO NOT FIND ME HURT THEMSELVES”.  “ ANYONE WHO HATES ME LOVES DEATH”.

GOD, HELP US TO LEARN UNDERSTAND AND KNOW YOUR WORDS,  SO THAT WE MAY LIVE BY THEM.  HELP US  TO BE WISE, LET YOUR WISDOM GUIDE US THROUGH  ALL THINGS, WITH THE GRACE YOU HAVE FREELY GIVEN US, BY THE BLOOD SHED FROM JESUS CHRIST ON THE CROSS.  THANK YOU, IN JESUS NAME ,A-MEN.

How can I gain wisdom from God?

Proverbs  2:1-7

A growing  number of people in our world fail to seek God for  His wisdom. Instead, they strive to satisfy their passions and desires without  regard to their futures or to the consequences of their decisions.

This is a spiritually dangerous way to live. When we try to live  apart from the counsel of God’s wisdom, we suffer disillusionment, fear, doubt,  worry, and frustration. Our lives fall apart when we do not involve the Savior  in our decisions.

The wisest approach to life’s challenges is to seek God for His  plan, direction, and spiritual insight. But how can we do that? The next time  you face a challenge or an important decision, seek God’s wisdom by doing the  following:

• Seek Him—If you want to know God’s heart on a given issue or when you have  to make a difficult decision, ask Him. Take time to pray—but in your times of  prayer, don’t do all the talking. Listen for God’s still, small voice  whispering His words of guidance and encouragement to you.

• Meditate on God’s Word—You will gain insight into God’s mind  and heart by studying Scripture and meditating on its truth. Difficult  decisions become easier to make when God is the One guiding you.

• Obey the principles of Scripture—When you set your  heart on obeying God, He will teach you how to apply His truth in your life.  Then you will know the way of wisdom.

• Observe the faithfulness of God—The Lord has never  failed to keep a single promise He has made. The Bible is full of testimonies  that celebrate His goodness and love. Learn to claim His promises as you read  His Word.

• Heed godly counsel—God can use a pastor or trusted Christian friend to help you see  beyond your weaknesses. Don’t hesitate to share your needs and fears with those  who love the Lord and you.

• Associate with wise people—Choose your friends wisely. Include God  in every relationship, and you will establish a strong, godly base of  counselors to support you in making wise decisions.

Because God loves us, we have no need to worry about the future.  He has a plan, not only for our lives, but also for every problem we face.  Oswald Chambers said, “All our fret and worry is caused by calculating without  God.” Take time today to renew your trust in God and His ability to provide the  wisdom you need.

A SONG OF PRAISE: Psalms 40 ( The Good News Bible, Today’s English Version )

I waited patiently for the Lord’s help; then he listened to me and heard my cry.  He pulled me out of a dangerous pit, out of the deadly quicksand.  He set me safely on a rock  and made me secure.  He taught me to sing a new song, a song of praise to our God.  Many who see this will take warning and will put their trust in the Lord.  Happy are those who trust the Lord, who do not turn to idols or join those who worship false Gods.

You have done many things for us, O Lord our God; there is no one like you!  You have made many wonderful plans for us.  I could never speak of them all, their number is so great!  You do not want sacrifices and offerings; you do not ask for animals burned whole on the altar or for sacrifices to take away sins.  Instead, you have given me ears to hear you and so I answered, “Here I am; your instructions for me are in the book of the law. How I love to do your will, my God!  I keep your teaching in my heart”.

In the assembly of all your people, Lord, I told the good news that you save us.  You know that I will never stop telling it.  I have not kept the news of salvation to myself; I have always spoken of your faithfulness and help. In the assembly of all your people I have not been silent about your loyalty and constant love.  Lord, I know you will never stop being merciful to me. YOUR LOVE AND LOYALTY WILL ALWAYS KEEP ME SAFE.

GOD’S ANGELS ARE REAL AND ASSIGNED TO HELP YOU, WHEN YOU”SPEAK”GODS WORDS ( ONLY ) READ AND LEARN MORE:

How To Put Your Angels On Assignment :

Expert Author Kimberly M Snyder

They are assigned to watch over us and protect us throughout our life. They are with us even when we don’t recognize them and they go to war for us to get our prayers answered. They are special messengers from God and they are our angels.

When we speak about angels, it is a topic that raises many questions.

What are angels and are they real?  Do I have angels watching over me? Can we see angels?

What Are Angels

Angels are real spirit beings created by God. They are heavenly messengers who seek to do God’s will as they hearken to His voice and His Word. God uses His angels to rescue and protect His people and to bring honor, praise and worship to His name. There are many different types of angels with different ranks and authority. Contrary to what some believe, there are both good angels and there are evil angels.

Good angels are holy angels who seek to do God’s will and who worship only God. Evil angels are demons or what we call fallen angels. These are angels who seek to deceive you and lead you away from worshiping God. They seek glory and worship for themselves and their desire is to exalt themselves above God.

Angels are assigned to us by God to watch over us and protect us, but we must put angels in their proper place. Angels are not gods and they are not our spiritual guides. Angels are never to be worshipped, prayed to or called upon for spiritual guidance. God alone is to be worshipped and praised. When we pray, we must always direct our prayers to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. When we need guidance in our life we must call on the Holy Spirit to lead us into all truth and righteousness.

Holy angels always direct worship and praise back to the God. An example of this is in the Book of Revelation when John was given a vision by the angel. Revelation 19:9-10 says, “And the angel said to me, Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding feast of the Lamb. And he added, These are true words that come from God.” Then I fell down at his feet to worship him, but he said, No, don’t worship me. I am a servant of God, just like you and your brothers and sisters who testify about their faith in Jesus. Worship only God. For the essence of prophecy is to give a clear witness for Jesus.

Psalm 103:20-21 says “Praise the Lord, you angels, you mighty ones who carry out his plans, listening for each of his commands. Yes, praise the Lord, you armies of angels who serve him and do his will.”

This scripture reminds us that praise for God’s angels is given to the Lord, not to the angels. It tells us that the mighty angels in heaven carry out God’s plan as they listen for His commands, which is His Word. Finally it shows us that this mighty army of angels serve only Him as they seek to do the will of God.

Angels Watching Over Me

God has assigned angels as His special messengers to each of our lives to watch over us and to protect us. They keep us from harm and they are even sent to warn us about danger. The Bible says the Lord will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. They will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.

The Book of Matthew describes to us how angels even ministered to Jesus when He was led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. He had fasted forty days and nights and was very hungry. It was during that time the devil came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become loaves of bread.” But Jesus told him, “No! The Scriptures say, People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God. ”

Then the devil took him to the holy city, Jerusalem, to the highest point of the Temple, and said, “If you are the Son of God, jump off! For the Scriptures say, ‘He will order his angels to protect you. And they will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone. Jesus responded, “The Scriptures also say, ‘You must not test the Lord your God.

Next the devil took him to the peak of a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. He said to Jesus I will give it all to you, if you will kneel down and worship me. Jesus then replied “Get out of here, Satan, “For the Scriptures say, ‘You must worship the Lord your God and serve only him. Then the devil went away, and angels came and took care of Jesus.

Jesus showed us the perfect example of how we are to use the Word of God to war against Satan, demonic voices and attacks. It is only through the Word of God that we can win the war. Each time Satan came with a temptation, Jesus used the Word of God against him. It was then that the angels of God came and ministered to Jesus as they heard the Word spoken. The angels hearkened to God’s commands.

1 John 2:15-16 says ” Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world-the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life-is not of the Father but is of the world.”

Can We See Angels

The Bible tells us to keep on loving each other as brothers and sisters and not to forget to show hospitality to strangers, for some who have done this have entertained angels without realizing it! God will send His angels among us here on the Earth to carry out His assignments.

In Genesis 28:11-22 we read about Jacobs dream. Jacob left Beersheba and was traveling toward Haran when at sundown he arrived at a good place to set up camp and stopped there for the night. Jacob found a stone to rest his head against and laid down to sleep. As he slept, he dreamed of a stairway that reached from the earth up to heaven. And he saw the angels of God going up and down the stairway. During this dream God confirmed His promises to Jacob Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I wasn’t even aware of it!” But he was also afraid and said, “What an awesome place this is! It is none other than the house of God, the very gateway to heaven!”

Jacob’s dream was a vision and insight into what happens in the spirit realm. God allowed Jacob to see the angels going up and down the ladder leading from heaven to earth. God confirmed to Jacob His word and His promises that He had given to his grandfather Abraham and to his father Isaac. All these promises were being fulfilled and the angels were going between heaven and earth carrying out God’s promises.

Angels On Assignment

The way we put our angels on assignment is by speaking the Word of God. They are waiting for the Word of God to be spoken during our prayers and our spoken word. We must be careful by putting a guard over our mouths and speak forth only what God says not what we think or feel. God’s Word is the only authority in our lives. Begin to speak and declare the promises of God over your life. When you pray, pray God’s Word and when you stand, stand firm in faith and watch God’s angels begin to move on your behalf.
